Where Heaven and the Bronx Met by Cooper Kalin

Kevin McCarthy, “Mac” to those who know him, teaches religion at a Bronx Catholic high school. After a horrific car accident, and for reasons Mac doesn’t understand, God enlists him to become an angel on earth. Heeding God’s call, Mac, with all his flaws, accepts. Instantly, his world is turned upside down.
Evil and the struggle for Bronx souls will soon test him. And sensing this new light of God in the Bronx, and the threat it poses, the devil vows to snuff it out, to snuff Mac out. But if Mac is to fulfill God’s mission, he’ll have to contend with more than just the devil. He’ll have to overcome inner demons, find inner peace, and realize his angel identity. He’ll need frontline training and he’ll need it fast. But he won’t be alone. Surprising allies will help him overcome his weaknesses, help him grow strong.
Can Mac shutdown evil in the Bronx? Or will the devil defeat Mac and continue his spread of misery and suffering?

Where Heaven and the Bronx Met is co-authored by a husband and wife team, Ken Cooper and Jacalyn Kalin. They are native New Yorkers, currently residing in Washington, D.C.
